On July 14, 2011, Pauline Fay Earle, 68, of Brookings went home to
be with the Lord.
She was born Sept. 16, 1942, in Los Angeles.
Pauline worked as an administrator for the Rogue River Fire
District in Gold Hill for 17 years, where she lived for many years,
retiring to Brookings in 2000. There is a book called, “The Perils
of Pauline,” recounting her time with the fire district.
She was married to Charles “Chuck” Earle on Aug. 13, 2005, in
Brookings.
Pauline was preceded in death by her father Ray Karnbach; mother
Eleanor Briggs; sister Dixie; brothers James Karnbach and Raymond
Karnbach; and daughter Cheryl Stokely Lossinger.
She is survived by her loving husband Charles “Chuck” Earle; son
Tom Stokely of Arizona; daughter Bambi Stokely of California;
brothers Richard Karnbach of Missouri and Kenneth Karnbach of
Portland; and five grandchildren. Of these grandchildren, she had a
special bond and love for Bridgette Alverez, having raised her since
birth.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the donation
account of Bridgette Alvarez at any branch of Chetco Federal Credit
Union.
